• Application techniques
• Commonly targeted aquatic weed and algae species
• How to avoid problems such as fish hills, impacts to water quality, etc.
• Integrated management strategies
• Strategies to achieve long-term control and reduce pesticide use
• Update on currently registered products
• Nutrient management, targeting the source and not just treating the symptoms

Who Should Attend:  Workshop is open to those persons who currently hold an Aquatic Weed Control License issued by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.

Fee:  None.

Continuing Education Credit:  Attendees are eligibile for three hours of continuing education credit.  (Participants arriving after 9:30 am will be allowed to attend the session, but will not receive credit toward recertification.)

Note:  If Wallingford Public Schools (WPS) are closed due to inclement weather, the session will be rescheduled.  If WPS has a delayed opening, the program start time will also be delayed (90 minutes).  Please be sure to check the radio for closing and delay announcements.
