Wilson Reading System (WRS) Introductory Workshop

Presented by:  Katharine Campbell, M. Ed, Wilson Partner, Wilson Language Training

This 15-hour workshop provides an overview of the Wilson Reading System (WRS) curriculum and serves as the prerequisite for WRS certification. At the completion of the workshop, attendees will be able to:

  • Define dyslexia and describe common characteristics 
  • Understand WRS principles of instruction and how WRS materials facilitate multisensory, interactive learning
  • Identify the lesson parts for Blocks 1, 2, and 3 of the lesson plan
  • Write a lesson plan 

If you will be teaching the Wilson Reading System, it is strongly recommended to purchase a Starter Set on Wilson’s website

**Please note this is a 3-day training and you must attend all 3 days.  One graduate credit will be available.  Additional details to follow.
