Fall Parent Weekend

October 16-18, 2015 

The countdown is on!  Our big fall event is approaching quickly - Fall Parent Weekend.  If you haven't already, make plans to arrive in the area on Thursday, October 15th.  Weekend events start early on Friday with assembly at 8:15 and a chance to experience a day in the life of a Blue Ridge boy.  Walk with your son throughout his day, enjoy lunch with him in the dining hall, and watch his practice session in the afternoon.  Friday culminates with a parent-only Welcome Reception followed by a Live Auction and dinner on the lawn (your son is welcome to have dinner with you).  On Saturday there will be meetings in the morning, lunch and games under the tent at noon, and a home football game on our new turf field in the afternoon.  

There is time on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning to schedule any teacher conferences you would like to have.  Contact Sareena Ryan to set up your conference.  Click here to view the Parent/Teacher conference schedule. 8:10 – 8:30 a.m. Assembly, Jessup Auditorium

8:48 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Attend class, your son will be your guide

11:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Class Ring Representative will be available for                                                            orders, Jessup Auditorium Lobby

12:45 – 1:25 p.m. Lunch, Loving Dining Hall

1:30 – 4:00 p.m. Parent Weekend Registration – Battle House              

   22nd Annual Great Silent Auction by the Parent Association, Battle House

5:00 – 6:30 p.m. Welcome Reception — Parents-only, hosted by the Associate Headmasters in Battle House. Blue Ridge School’s policy is that current students and persons under the age of 21 cannot attend functions on campus where alcohol is involved. Thank you for understanding

6:30 – 8:00 p.m. BRS Community Fall Dinner on the main lawn under the tent where there will be a live auction, bonfire and games.
