Presented in Partnership with Grace Episcopal Church, Medford

Attend a day-long course specifically designed to equip adults who work with youth with the tools they need to identify unique risk factors and warning signs. The “Youth Mental Health First Aid” course offers basic training on how to help adolescents experiencing a mental health or substance abuse challenge or crisis.

8:30am: Registration & Coffee

9:00am - 6:00pm: Training & Lunch (provided)

Youth Mental Health First Aid is an 8-hour course designed to help adults to know how and when to act on behalf of struggling teens. The course meets re-certification requirements for Youth Mental Health First Aid.

NOTE:  Participants must attend the full training in order to receive certification.

The course is open to adult youth ministry volunteers across the diocese. Cost of the program and materials is $25. Lunch and hospitality is included. Know that we don't want cost to stand in the way of your taking part in this training. If you want to attend, we want to have you with us! Please contact H. Mark Smith (hmsmith@diomass.org) with any questions.
