Why You Should Attend           CVI's 22nd Annual Cardiology Update focuses on "Game Changers in Cardiovascular Medicine" that will effect how every clinician and allied healthcare professional manages the care of patients with cardiovascular disease.

As 2015 comes to a close, we see new directions in care for our patients.  A new pharmacologic agent will likely change the way we treat patients with lipid disorders.  New pharmacologic agents ande implantable devices will likely change how we manage heart failure.  Another new novel oral anticoagulant and the FDA approval of the first reversal agent will likely be a game changer as well in the pharmacologic management of non-valvular A Fib.  All of these topics will be addressed by our faculty of national thought leaders and regional experts.

CVI's 22nd Annual Cardiology Update features a Keynote Presentation on the American Healthcare System; and focused presentations on Screening and Diagnostic Modalities for Ischemic Heart Disease and the controversy surrounding Maintenance of Certification.

Case-based panel discussions on "What Every Clinician Needs to Know" about Cardiac Surgery, Interventional Cardiology and EP/Arrhythmia Monitoring will be presented by a diverse group of thought leaders from throughout the region.

Our agenda concludes with focused presentations on Managing Cardiovascular Disease in Special Patient Populations including:  Cardiac Oncology Patients, During Pregnancy and Diabetic Patients.

Our goal is to provide attendees with the most up-to-date, relevant clinical information on recent advancements in prevention, detection and treatment of CVD.  Integrating this information into clinical practice will improve care and outcomes in patients with or at risk for CVD.

Please contact me directly if you have questions or need help registering.
