You are encouraged to bring your lunch on Saturday or to visit one of the many eateries within walking distance.  If you wish to purchase a box lunch for $10, please do so during the registration process. The choices are "meat" or "vegetarian."

Diocesan Convention 2015

Welcome to the registration site for the 230th Annual Diocesan Convention, which will take place at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul, Boston on November 13 and 14, 2015.  We are pleased you will be joining us. 

FRIDAY NIGHT:  After the Convention is called to order on Friday, November 13 at 7 p.m., the newly renovated Cathedral Church of St. Paul will be rededicated and Bishop Alan M. Gates will be officially seated during a service of Holy Eucharist. All are welcome. Seating for the congregation will be first come, first served, with some overflow seating available in the church’s lower-level Sproat Hall. A reception will follow. 

Check-in to pick up credentials will be open on Friday, November 13, from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for those clergy and lay delegates attending the evening's special service. Please note there will not be any scheduled programing between 3 and 6:30 p.m.

REGISTRATION:  In order to make appropriate arrangements, we ask all Convention attendees to pre-register below.  The registration fee, in the amount of $15 per person, will cover a portion of the costs for beverages and the materials that you will receive during the course of Convention.  Please complete this process no later than Monday, November 9.  If you are paying by check, please mail in your check to avoid long lines at Convention.

Check-in to pick up credentials and ballots will re-open on Saturday morning from 7:15 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. for those attending on Saturday only. 

Churches may register multiple names, however, only the initial registrant will receive email confirmations and notifications. 

CHILD CARE AND CHILDREN’S PROGRAM:  On Saturday only, we are offering child care for children ages 4 and under, and a children’s program for kids ages 5-12.  You may register your child for these programs as part of your Convention registration process below.  All children who participate must be pre-registeredNo walk-in registrations will be accepted.  The cost per child is $20.00.  For questions, please call Ms. Amy Cook (617-482-4826 x645) or email her acook@diomass.org. 

CLERGY CERTIFICATION DEADLINE: The deadline to become canonically resident is October 30. For more information, please click here. 

CHANGES IN LAY DELEGATES:  Delegate changes should be reported by mailing or faxing the substitute delegate form

CONVENTION HANDBOOK AND BUDGET:  Please read the Handbook and Budget carefully and inform your congregation about the issues to come before Convention.  BE SURE TO BRING THE HANDBOOK AND BUDGET TO CONVENTION!
