FaithTrust 201 Healthy Boundary Training
Understanding boundaries can help us manage the difficulties inherent in the role of clergy or spiritual teacher. Knowledge of what is appropriate, what is not, and whether an action is in the best interest of congregants or students can help us avoid possible boundary violations.
All clergy who desire to receive an appointment must complete 8 hours of Healthy Boundaries training during the 2013-2016 quadrennium. This is the final training taking place in the Inland District that meets this requirement.
This particular course is being offered at All Saints Lutheran Church in Spokane. The course, taught by Rev. Dale Cockrum and Rev. Janine Goodrich, will begin at 8:30 AM and finish by 4:00 PM. Lunch and a workbook are included in the $35 registration fee.
