Professionalism is conduct reflecting the values embodied in the Colorado Attorney Oath of Admission, the Colorado Principles of Professionalism, and the Colorado Rules of Professional Conduct. These values require attorneys always to act competently, civilly, and with integrity and to commit themselves to the public good and to furthering the interests of justice.
Join members of the CTLA and the CDLA on October 15 in the Supreme Court chambers as part of Professionalism Month.
At 3:30, Chief Justice Rice and Justices Boatright and Gabriel will share with us their thoughts on the appellate process in general and amicus briefs in particular, including a discussion of ethical issues and professionalism in the appellate process. Following this, the CTLA and CDLA will be making their respective professionalism awards, to be followed by an open reception in the Supreme Court foyer starting at 5:30 pm.
