$775 for the full Nutrition Series 

STUDENTS
$200 with registration before January 22nd

Program Description
This program is designed to provide health care practitioners with the foundational information needed to confidently apply nutrition and wellness concepts in their practice. 

This course can be taken independently or in conjunction with Dr. Seaman's other nutrition sessions:

Clinical Nutrition & Wellness Session II: Diet & Nutritional Supplements

Clinical Nutrition & Wellness Session III: How Dietary Habits Drive Disease Throughout the Lifecycle and Key Nutritional/Lifestyle Interventions

Format
The program content will be presented in lecture format.

Outline
Hours 1-6: Basic cellular anatomy and physiology  

  • Cellular energetics: ATP synthesis (1.5 hours)
  • Free radical generation during normal cell processes (1.5 hours)
  • Chronic inflammation and its impact on tissue repair and healing (3.0 hours)

Hours 7-10: Digestive dysfunction

  • Musculoskeletal symptoms (1.0 hours)
  • Gut immune function and dysbiosis (1.0 hours)
  • Food allergy (1.0 hours)
  • Fiber, probiotics, and fatty acids (1.0 hours)

Hours 11-12: Basic dietary supplement recommendations (2.0 hours)
