Dance with Clara and her friends
Clara will bring her favorite doll, and you can bring yours, too! Learn dances from Clara and the characters she meets in The Nutcracker's magical Kingdom of Sweets. Enjoy making candy crafts and filling a bag from a colorful candy buffet.
As always, there will be tables full of sandwiches and sweets, and children can decorate their own yummy creations.
Dancers will perform excerpts from The Tallahassee Ballet's upcoming Nutcracker, and award-winning photographer Dina Ivory will be on hand to take holiday portraits.
Win your own American Girl Doll! Enter our raffle to win an Isabelle doll which includes her very own ballerina dream wardrobe.Tickets are $5 each and available on the event registration form. Attendance at Kingdom of Sweets is not required to win.
The Petite Patron program is an exciting, unique membership opportunity for children ages 12 and younger. The children learn about the world of dance and the importance of patronage of the arts. Petite Patrons are treated special when they attend The Tallahassee Ballet performances. It is a perfect gift for the budding dancer, encouraging his or her love of the arts.
- Receive a "pass" to wear at each children's performance (The Nutcracker and Spring Ballet that entitles Petite Patrons (and parents attending the performance) to attend a "Meet the Cast" party directly after the children’s abbreviated performances on Saturday morning
- Receive an invitation to Backstage at the Ballet where Petite Patrons will tour the studio and wardrobe room at TTB and watch rehearsal
- Receive a special gift in the lobby at each children's performance of the Nutcracker and Spring Ballet
