Louise is presently serving as Executive Director of the Sorrento Retreat and Conference Centre.  Ordained 30 years as a priest in the Anglican Church, Louise is committed to the practice of praying daily, listening deeply, laughing often, and trying not to fall down.

This is a silent retreat.

Registration deadline is Sunday, October 18th.  There are a limited number of rooms in each category and they will be filled on a first-come first-served basis.  Payment is due by Sunday, October 18th after which spaces will be allocated to those on the waiting list.  Please register and pay early to avoid disappointment.

Due to the limited number of spaces, this retreat is open to active clergy in the first instance.  Retired clergy can indicate their interest to The Revd Ruth Monette, rmonette@vancouver.anglican.ca who will contact you should there be spaces available after the registration deadline. 

Please be sure to notify us of your dietary requirements.

Cell reception at Loon Lake may be problematic.  There is a complimentary land line in the Dining Hall.  Wireless internet is available.  You will also need a gate code to drive into the Research Forest-this code will be emailed to you when you complete the registration process.

 Payment is by cheque, but if you would like to pay by credit card, please call the Synod Office at 604-684-6306 and speak directly to Bill at ext. 228 or Sandra at  ext 212.

Registration includes a single occupancy room and all meals.  Please note that as of October 6th all available room have shared washrooms.

 PLEASE NOTE – CANCELLATION POLICY

We must confirm our numbers with Loon Lake well before the retreat and this retreat is heavily subsidized by the diocese. Therefore cancellations received later than October 18th will not be eligible for a refund and will be subject to an additional fee to cover the complete cost of an individual attending this retreat.

The Revd Louise Peters is the Executive Director at the Sorrento Retreat and Conference Centre.  She was previously Dean of St Paul's Anglican Cathedral in Kamloops.
