NHS & Local Government Legal Services Conference 2016

About the Conference

NHS and Local Government organisations are constantly developing the way they deliver services and operations.  These developments include new models of care that require partnerships with other NHS organisations, local government and private sector.  With an ever changing care environment it's essential for NHS Trusts and public sector organisations to have access to the best legal advice in the market. 

The NHS Commercial Alliance's Legal Services Framework Agreement gives Trusts and other organisations access to a range of legal firms to choose from. 

This conference provides an opportunity for NHS and public sector customers to meet some of the legal firms on this framework and hear from them on some key legal topics affecting the NHS and local government in particular.

The event will cover topics across three key areas where NHS and public sector customers regularly need legal advice, namely:

• Health and social care integration - NHS and Local Government
• Estates and facilities
• New commercial opportunites for the NHS

Who Should Attend?

This event is FREE to staff from NHS and public sector organisations. It is aimed at staff from a wide cross section of departments which use the services of legal companies. There is particular interest for staff working in the areas of health and social care and also estates and facilities. Separate seminars/workshops have been arranged for these staff. In addition there are general interest seminars on other topics such as commerciality and procurement in the NHS.

Speakers come from the legal services suppliers on the NHS Commercial Alliance Framework. Please note, this agenda is still being finalised and is subject to change.
