Building a Resilient Organization Culture
Organizational resilience is the ability of an organization to anticipate, prepare for, and respond and adapt to change and sudden disruptions in order to survive and prosper.
To say that these are challenging times for non-profit housing organizations is to put it mildly – end of operating agreements, maintenance deficits, resident challenges, staffing difficulties are all issues for which we must prepare. But what about the sudden disruptions that could happen without warning – a storm that fills the basement with water, an incidence of violence, a power outage that lasts for days in the middle of winter? Is your Board of Directors and staff resilient enough to respond quickly and effectively, maintaining order, safety and quality of life for your residents?
In this interactive workshop you will learn how to foster a culture of resilience that allows you to be prepared for the expected change and that which cannot be anticipated. You can expect to leave with tips, tools and resources that you can use in your workplace.
