Understanding AD/HD for Counselors & Educators
Do you really know how to recognize the inattentive type of AD/HD? Are you aware ADD is no longer diagnosed? Do you know different types of medication work for specific symptoms of AD/HD?
In this half day workshop, participants will learn about the various types of AD/HD and associated symptoms. With a heightened emphasis on useable resources, participants will leave with classroom tactics to improve attention and reduce frustration. An overview of executive functioning will offer complementary apps to increase functioning. A medical model will propose therapeutic options for current diagnosis and treatment modalities.
