HiMSS Oregon Student Council Formation Webinar
Program Details:
Thank you for your interest in the HiMSS Student Council. Please register via the link below if you would like to learn more about the HiMSS Oregon Student Council Formation and how it can benefit your academic and future career. We are planning on hosting an informational webinar in November and will notify registered guests with the date, time and login instructions.
Goals of the HiMSS Student Council:
- Building bridges between the local healthcare industry and academic organizations is the driving objective for the HiMSS Oregon Student Council.
- Create opportunities for networking with local healthcare leaders.
- Develop a platform for student innovation and demonstration at HIMSS events. Communicate local Health I.T. education and professional development event information at your school.
- Incorporate the student perspective into HiMSS event programming.
- Be recognized as a leader at your school and within the healthcare community!

FAQs:
Q: Do I have to be a HiMSS member to participate?
A: HiMSS Student membership is available at a reduced rate, but is not required to participate in the student council.
Q: How often will the student council meet?
A: The Student Council will determine its own meeting frequency. The HiMSS Oregon board meets once a month and is an opportunity for the Student Council liaison to interact with the board and communicate student needs and perspectives.
