Flight Operations System Users' Conference 

The 2016 ARINCDirect FOS® Users' Conference will be an intensive and high-value event with a strong focus on training and continuing education, while also highlighting new features, integration efforts and various services available to ARINCDirect FOS and flight planning subscribers.

The training provided at the conference will be based on experience level, as well as operation type. The curriculum tracks have been designed to provide a complete 3-day training course for initial, recurrent and advanced users, while also providing focused sessions for Private and Commercial operators. New this year, an additional fourth day will focus on mobile apps, as well as Crystal Reports Designer. Our dedicated teams from FOS Technical Support and Engineering will also be available to answer any questions. 


A brief outline of the content is below. We will be providing a detailed agenda and topic outline in the near future. Get excited, and come join the ARINCDirect team as we launch a new era of training and support through our FOS Conference 2016!

General Sessions: Opening general sessions will include announcements from Rockwell Collins ARINCDirect, a review of accomplishments since the last conference and highlights of new features and functionality throughout ARINCDirect FOS and flight support services. Explore the new eco-system of services and software that is the "New ARINCDirect"!

Initial Courses: If you are new to FOS, or just want to brush up on the basics, these courses will be for you. Our goal is to start from the beginning, through an Intro to FOS, then progress through each of the core modules talking about how to input new records, manage data, integrate processes and overall best practices to ensure your experience with, and production from FOS, is the best it can be.

Recurrent Courses: Seasoned FOS users can take their core competencies to the next level in our recurrent level courses. Aimed at building on your existing knowledge, we'll quickly review the fundamentals before diving deeper into record management, then move through more complex modules like Training, Checklists, Cost and Quote Management, Chargebacks and SIFL and much more. Heavy emphasis will be put on best practices and feature implementation to ensure that you are getting everything you can out of the system.

Advanced Courses: Whether you are a system administrator, power user, or just one of the conference regulars, we have advanced courses planned to focus on how to manage FOS within your organization. Sessions in this category will include topics like User administration, Company records, report management and IT infrastructures supporting FOS. We trust that even the veteran FOS users will find value in these courses!

Additional Sessions:  We have other value-add sessions included in the agenda focusing on our suite of services including but definitely not limited to: Flight Planning, International Trip Support, Cabin Connectivity, Risk Analysis and interfaces and integrations. If you ever thought that all we offered is FOS, then make sure you find time to attend these sessions and see the entire portfolio of ARINCDirect Flight Support Services!

Entertaining After-Hours Activities:  We have several nights of activities planned including an off-site welcome reception, networking event and a return trip to Top Golf!

Attendance: Conference registration requires lodging at The Woodlands Resort & Conference Center, single occupancy room. Limit 5 people per company during early registration. Additional registration requests will be put on a waiting list.

Registration Fee: Registration fee includes lodging for 4 nights, breakfast, lunch, snacks, welcome reception, team-building event, happy hour networking night, and program materials. Confirmation of receipt will be sent via email. For billing purposes, a breakout of costs applied to lodging, food, and training can be obtained by emailing request to fossupport@rockwellcollins.com.

$2,500 - Register now through January 31 
$2,750 - Register between February 1 and March 31
$3,000 - Register after April 1

*Payment information must accompany registration. Registration without payment will not be processed. 50% of conference registration due if cancelled after April 1, 2016. You may send an alternative person if unable to attend.
