Local Foods Day 2016: At The Legislature
The Morning
The 2016 Local Foods Day at the Legislature is designed to help more than 100 individuals from local food and agriculture sector have successful conversations with West Virginia State Legislators about the topics that mean the most to them.
- We will schedule legislative meetings for you! All you have to do is tell us what you want to talk about.
- Learn how to have successful conversations with legislators – Attend our advocacy webinar on Thursday, January 7th, 2016. Register Here!
- Still Nervous? We’ll will host a short crash course in speaking with legislators on the 26th, prior to your meetings.
- Not interested in meeting with a legistlator? Come rally and show your support. Join the network of food and agriculture enthusiasts.
The Afternoon
After a morning at the capitol building, participants are invited to join a celebratory luncheon with the West Virginia Food & Farm Coalition at the University of Charleston.
