Topic: Presenting Yourself Powerfully

APICS Tampa Bay, the leading association for supply chain and operations management, invites members of local professional associations, the academic community and business professionals to our Eight Annual Holiday Networking Event on December 8, 2015 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm at the DoubleTree Hotel Tampa Airport Westshore, 4500 W. Cypress Street, Tampa, FL 33607.  

Our guest speaker is Debbie Lundberg, SLRC, Principal of Presenting Powerfully. She will be speaking on the topic of Presenting Yourself Powerfully.

Presentations are a part of life, and how we present ourselves each day is a part of what people know, expect and (right or wrong) pass judgment on regularly.  This is not a session about making presentations, rather this is about how each aspect of us, our style, our language, our approach and our expressions are what becomes our “package” or our presentation of self each day.

We sometimes forget that our impression does not start when we see someone, rather it begins when they see us…via email, social media, in a meeting or one-on-one…even in the parking lot.  Have some fun with how presentation is perceived and think about ways to increase and optimize your overall presentation to yourself and others.  In addition to networking tips and tools, Presenting Yourself Powerfully take-aways are:

• Awareness of self and impression on others
• Choices for language and approach
• Conscious choice of how to be remembered

People who participate in Presenting Yourself Powerfully will exit the session armed with ideas, actions and even attitudinal tools for making the “right” presentation of self for themselves!

Speaker: Debbie Lundberg

As the author of nine (9) books, Debbie Lundberg is the Principal of Presenting Powerfully, where the areas of expertise include Keynotes, Teaming, Training and Coaching (Life, Business & Presentation). 

In a complementary capacity, Debbie is spearheading Business Engagement for the USF Muma College of Business for organizations to contract with professors, students and SMEs for consulting work such as research projects, executive education, coaching and more!

Agenda:

This dinner meeting includes your choice of water, iced tea and coffee, dinner rolls and a mixed green salad.  Entree choices are Beef or Chicken and Vegetable Medley.  Dessert is a choice of Cheese Cake or Chocolate Torte.
