Kids Cooking Green Grades K and 1st graders at the Newton Peirce Extended Day Program

Kids Cooking Green is coming to the Newton Peirce Extended Day Program in March! We're inviting Kindergarten and 1st grade children to come and cook with us in our after school program from 1:30-3:00.

Are you a kid who loves food? Join us for a wonderful afternoon of fun in the kitchen learning about local ingredients and creating a delicious snack!

Class 1: Tuesday, March 29th- Green Noodles, Green Noodles, (in time for St Patricks day!)
Learn how fun it is to make pasta dough from scratch using local eggs and semolina
flour. Roll and then cut your own noodles and make a delicious nut-free
parsley pesto to eat with the pasta.

Class 2: Tuesday, April 5th
Corn Pancakes with homemade whipped cream and maple sryup
Learn to make and then eat these delicious pancakes, and then read Eric Carles
book, Pancakes Pancakes!

Class 3: Tuesday, April 12th
Mac and Cheese and Broccoli!
So good, delicious and good for you!
