High Reliability No-Clean Solder Paste for Designs Where Flux Cannot Be Dried; Application of solder Alloys and Threats of Tin Whiskers; and Low Temperature Soldering Alloys and Reliability

Speaker:  Dr. Ning-Cheng Lee is the Vice President of Technology of Indium Corporation. He has been with Indium since 1986. Prior to joining Indium, he was with Morton Chemical and SCM. He has more than 30 years of experience in the development of fluxes and solder pastes for SMT industries, plus experience in underfills and adhesives. He received his PhD in polymer science from University of Akron in 1981, and BS in chemistry from National Taiwan University in 1973. Ning-Cheng is the author of “Reflow Soldering Processes and Troubleshooting: SMT, BGA, CSP, and Flip Chip Technologies”, and co-author of “Electronics Manufacturing with Lead-Free, Halogen-Free, and Conductive-Adhesive Materials”. He was honored as 2002 Member of Distinction from SMTA, 2003 Lead Free Co-Operation Award from Soldertec, 2006 Exceptional Technical Achievement Award from CPMT, 2007 Distinguished Lecturer from CPMT, 2009 Distinguished Author from SMTA, 2010 Electronics Manufacturing Technology Award from CPMT, 2015 IEEE Senior Member, and 2015 Founder’s Award from SMTA.

From Rt. 93 North or South, take exit 38 to Rt. 129 west (Lowell Street) for about 1 mile. Left turn onto Cross Street. At the end of Cross Street turn left onto Rt. 38 south (Main Street). If you missed Cross Street proceed to the lights and turn left onto Rt. 38 south (Main Street). Look for U-Haul on the right and take next left on to Textron entrance. Textron lobby is located just below the Textron sign on the first building on the left. Park in any open space in parking area.

From Rt. 128 North or South, take exit 35 to Rt. 38 north (Main Street) for about 3 miles. Look for DSM Neo Resins on the right and take next right on to Textron entrance. Textron lobby is located just below the Textron sign on the first building on the left. Park in any open space in parking area.
