Deposit required at registration to hold space. Limited camping spots available early registration is suggested. Fees must be paid in FULL by January 6th, 2016.
Accomodations- Large campsites with 30 amp hook up & water/sewer. 2 Persons per campsite (additional fees for more). Stalls are provided for your horse in addition to turn out pens on site. Restrooms and shower house, pavillion available on site. Lighted arena, round pens & swimming pool are all available for your use.
What is included in your fees -
- RV Resort accomodations (rvsite) for your trailer
- 12x12 stall for your horse
- Horsemanship Workshops
- Trail Ride Workshops
- Carriage Ride Tour
- Boat ride river tour.
- Private Session with Clinician (1/2 hr).
- Additional activities during the week in camp and around the area.
- Farrier on site for any needed repairs during stay at no charge.
- All reservations and booking of events are taken care of for you.
- Rider supply check list & additional travel tips will be provided.
Note: You will be responsible for your own food/meals, spending money, beverages in addition to supplies,feed/hay & shavings for your horse.
COSTS & OPTIONS:
1 Week trip-1 Rider with Campsite/stall $1200.00
1 Week trip-1 Rider without Campsite with 1 stall $750.00 (must be with a rider that has campsite)
$500.00 deposit required to hold your spot
REFUND POLICY: Deposits are Non-Refundable. Balance owed must be paid in full by Jan. 6th, 2016. We reserve the right to remove you from the trip if you balance has not been paid by due date. Limited spots available early registration is suggested.
Negative Coggins and Health Papers required to enter the state of Florida. You will be checked at the State Border.
Enjoy exploring the Goethe National Forest with the comfort of having like minded horse folks to share it with. Work on developing your partnership with your horse while taking in the beauty of Florida. Take time to relax and hang out at camp or head into Ocala for an adventure!

Florida Trail Ride Excursion
February 20th-February 27th
Spend your days Camping & Riding in warm Florida. Riders will enjoying spacious camping with RV Hook ups and large stalls for the horses. During the week riders will participate in Horsemanship Workshops and Group Trail Rides focusing on the Trail Horse wih Clinician Joe Most & his horse "Tuff". Many other fun activities are also included during your Florida Excursion including some tours and group activities.

Just a short drive southwest of Ocala, Florida between Bronson and Dunnellon you will find a haven for trail riding in the Goethe State Forest. The forest is approximately 20 miles long and an average of 4.5 miles wide. There are 126 miles of marked trails with mulituse trailheads; allowed are horseback riding, carriage driving, biking and hiking.
You will find a variety of footing from deep Florida sand to pine needle covered easy going trails. You will ride through pine forests, open areas with palmetto and sawgrass, and under moss covered oak trees.
Fun Stuff- Riders will enjoy a Carriage Ride Tour of an Ocala Horse Farm during a group outing with a picnic lunch. Join in group activities planned all week include group dinners, tours , a boat ride & fire side chats at camp.
No trip to Florida is complete until you see the ever popular Florida Alligator and many other beautiful sights and creatures along the banks during our river boat tour.
Whats more fun than shopping?.....Horse Friendly Shopping!-Just a few of the locations for Horse Stores in Ocala! Time will definitely be dedicated to some shopping in Ocala during our Trail Ride Excusion!
