SBE Community Forum at ESD 113 in Tumwater

The State Board of Education will hold a board meeting January 13-14 in Tumwater. Public comment is scheduled during the board meeting, but the Board recognizes that those times may not be convenient for working community members, so we’re holding an additional open forum to facilitate conversations between board members and the community. 

Please join board members for an open discussion about important topics such as strategies for closing the achievement gap, standards, and college and career readiness. The community forum will be January 12 in the Chehalis room at ESD 113.

This is a public meeting and all are welcome. You may bring guests or share this invitation.

If a quorum of board members are present, this will be a public meeting per RCW 42.30.030.
