TOUR OF THE SHOWGROUND 

You will have the opportunity to take an exclusive tour of the showground to find out how the 150 acre site is turned into a small tented town in just a few days. It takes about 12,000 man hours to set up and take down the 20 different arenas, display rings, penning stalls and stables and 600 trade stands. BuzzConnect is a non-profit making organisation and a percentage of the proceedings from this event will be donated to Thames Valley Kings Wheelchair Basketball Club.

Our guest speaker is Iain Kirkpatrick, Managing Director, Retail Banking, Metro Bank – the customer focused bank turning the industry on its head! Join us and representatives from more than200 local businesses and charities in an event to remember. Iain Kirkpatrick is responsible for overseeing all activity across Metro Bank’s growing number of London and South East-based stores, and will be instrumental in future expansion plans. Metro Bank 42 stores including Bexleyheath opening Friday 22 July. Joining from the UK Private Bank division at Lloyds Banking Group, Iain has many years of experience recent role he held a number of positions including Retail and Mortgage Director for Lloyds TSB Scotland and the running of retail branch networks for Lloyds and Halifax in London and the South East.
