Assembly of Turkish American Associations(ATAA)’s 36th Annual Turkish American Conference will be held on February 25-27, 2016 at the Washington Plaza Hotel in Washington D.C.

The annual ATAA conference is one of the largest conferences in the U.S. that traditionally brings together Turkish-American communities nationwide to promote greater public awareness and understanding of Turkey's rich culture and modern day society.

In light of the major challenges facing the Turkish Americans at this time, 2016 Conference will be an important forum for our community to come together in unity and raise its voice, take action for the present and plan for the future. The Annual ATAA Conference is one of the largest conferences in the U.S. that brings together the Turkish American communities from around the country to share knowledge and information.

ATAA is the national umbrella organization for Turkish Americans, representing 60 local chapters nationwide. As a non-political and non-profit entity based in Washington DC, ATAA empowers more than 500,000 Turkish Americans through civic engagement, supports U.S. -Turkey relations through public education and strives to raise the voice and visibility of Turkish Americans in the US through a wide range of activities and programs.

The Washington Plaza Hotel is located at 10 Thomas Circle, NW, Washington, DC 20005.  Hotel is five blocks from the White House and Washington Convention Center; minutes from major museums, monuments, and attractions.
