FCSSBC February 17, 2016 Workshop

Building Bridges Through Understanding the Village

In advance of the February 18-19th, 2016 Social Policy forum and FCSSBC Members Only General Meeting, The Federation will be presenting a workshop.  Building Bridges through Understanding the Village will be hosted by Kathi Camilleri on Wednesday, February 17th at the Marriott Victoria Inner Harbour.

We often hear from our members the need to better to address the trauma and impact of settlement on First Nations. Offering this workshop is a first step in that direction.

We have been hearing amazing things about this workshop and are excited to offer this deep learning opportunity as part of ongoing reconciliation efforts. It is an experiential workshop and can be an intense and emotionally powerful experience. But the facilitator works with an elder and clinician to provide a safe space in which to do this important work.

Please note: Registration for the above pre-conference workshop and the February 18-19th Social Policy forum and FCSSBC Members Only General Meeting are separate.  Participants may click here to be taken to the separate registration document for the policy forum/GM.
