Integrative Somatic Psychotherapy (ISP) is an innovative blend of bodywork and psychotherapy developed by Jerry Perlmutter, PhD.  This workshop will present some of the assessment considerations, changes principles, and interventions used in ISP.  Specific Integrative Somatic psychotherapy interventions will be suggested for the EAP /setting, including clinical assessments and interactions with organizational client executives.

Learning Objectives: 

• Understand the guiding assumptions, change principles and foundational concepts of Integrative Somatic Psychotherapy.  
• Observe specific Somatic Psychotherapy interventions and evaluate their impact.  
• Incorporate simple, pragmatic and effective integrative Somatic Psychotherapy interventions into a talk-focused clinical or EAP practice, up to and including interactions with organizational client services.  
• Be able to facilitate structured practices to heighten mind-body awareness and promote personal growth.
