As part of the Auditorium Theatre's annual production of Too Hot to Handel: The Jazz-Gospel Messiah honoring the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, we invite you to join us for a panel discussion entitled “The Beloved Community: Restoring A Dream Deferred”. As the city of Chicago, and the world, reels from the violence, racism, and intolerance plaguing urban and rural areas alike, our panelists of academic, social, and religious leaders will engage in a candid discussion about the issues afflicting our communities and how Dr. King's vision of the "beloved community" can still be achieved.
