Grand Learning for You
Education in CCISD is a Grand affair for a growing number of students. While a relatively new term, Grandfamilies account for an increasing number of families in CCISD as well as across the country where a grandparent is the primary caregiver. These workshops will help grandparents positively navigate the school system.
The first series of face-to-face sessions will focus on the software systems the school district utilizes in the classroom as well as a means for parent communication. As an added feature, the three spring sessions will include basics for grandparents raising children in elementary, intermediate and/or high school.
