UIC Psychology Department 50th Anniversary & Reunion

Join us in celebrating the 50th anniversary of the UIC Psychology Department. We have a whole weekend of events planned for May 13 - 15, 2016.  There will be one more event two weeks later (on Saturday, May 28, 2016) during APS (because so many were already scheduled to come in to Chicago for APS, and they can't make two trips so close together).  Please feel free to attend one or both weekends of the extended celebration.

MAY 13 - 15, 2016

Friday, May 13
* Pre-registration materials can be picked up starting at noon in Psychology department
* Early Afternoon: Food and drink start at 12 PM (in and around the fishbowls)
* Early Afternoon: UIC Psychology Dept. Laboratories poster session from 1 PM to 2:30 PM
* Late Afternoon: Formal colloquium starts at 3 PM.  Speaker: David Wirtshafter.
* Early Evening: Small group, ethnic dinners in the evening (6 PM).  Choices include: Frontera, Parthenon, and Tufano's
* Evening: Dinner and Jazz at Andy's Jazz Club (7 PM)

Saturday, May 14
* Morning: Breakfast at Lou Mitchell’s
* Morning or Early Evening: Architecture Foundation River Tour
* Afternoon: Big group luncheon at Sol Y Nieve on Ohio (noon - 3:30 PM)  We have opted for the La Mancha Menu.  We are hoping to see everyone at this event.
* Evening: Small group, ethnic dinners in the evening (7 PM).  Choices include: Greek Islands, Pasteur, and Berghoff's

Sunday, May 15
* Time 1:20 PM.  Bleacher seats for the Cubs v Pittsburgh  
* Late Morning & Afternoon: Millennium Park and the Modern Wing of the Art Institute– Lunch at Terzo Piano in the AIC and/or Drinks at Cindy's across the street in the old Chicago Athletic Association
* Early Evening: Small group, ethnic dinners in the evening (6 PM).  Choices include El Jardin, Opart Thai and Shaw's Crab House
