STARTING A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION MIGHT BE A SMART DECISION: Lunch & Learn

Learn the secrets of successfully launching a nonprofit organization in Florida. As long as your organization is being established “for the greater good,” chances are you can jump the hurdles to qualify both in Florida and with the Internal Revenue Service. A review of all documentation required is included along with sample documents that are required for a successful application. The processt is not a complicated but it is confusing. This workshop lays out the process and procedure so you can launch as soon as you send in your application. 

Presenter Penny Pompei, Palm Beach SCORE's Chapter Chair, is an experienced non-profit executive, having served as CEO in a dozen different organizations, including the National Women’s Business Center in Washington, DC. She is also a serial entrepreneur and has founded several non-profit organizations as subsidiaries of her for-profit organizations. Penny is a SCORE certified mentor and is CEO of Pompei International, Inc., a small business consultancy.
