Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière will be hosting the 4th Annual International ECD Medical Symposium on their campus in Paris, France on September 15, 2016. You can register below for the symposium and related events.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL SOCIAL

The ECDGA will be hosting a Medical Professional Social on September 14, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm, the evening prior to the ECD Medical Symposium.  This social gathering will be an opportunity for fellowship among the Medical Symposium attendees and the ECDGA Board of Directors.  We hope you will register to attend.

ECD MEDICAL SYMPOSIUM

The ECD Medical Symposium, scheduled for 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Thursday, September 15, 2016, will be hosted by Professor Julien Haroche and the Hôpital Pitié-Salpêtrière.  If you are interested in presenting at this event, please email your abstract to Jessica Corkran at jessica.corkran@erdheim-chester.org. The deadline for participation and abstract submittal is June 15, 2016.  The event fee is $200/per attendee and will cover the cost of the social and symposium meals. Feel free to contact the orgnization with any concerns about the fee being charged.  

ECD MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL AND FAMILY DINNER

The ECDGA Welcome Dinner will be held on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Paris Marriot Rive Gauche Hotel.  This is a time for medical professionals, the patients and their families to meet and share their experiences and stories about their journey with ECD.  The dinner is also a way for the ECDGA to say thank you to all the dedicated members and physicians who continue the fight against ECD. We would be pleased and grateful for your attendance.

ECD PATIENT AND FAMILY GATHERING

The ECDGA Patient and Family Gathering, scheduled for September 16, 2016, will be an opportunity for patients to hear from medical professionals about treatments, trials and research.  We would be honored if you could attend and share your knowledge with patients and family members.

The registration fee will be waived for the Patient and Family Gathering for those who are attending the ECD Medical Symposium.  However, we do ask that you register as soon as possible to allow the ECDGA to plan appropriately for space. 

LODGING INFORMATION

The ECDGA events will be held at the Paris Marriott Rive Gauche Hotel & Conference Center. Sleeping rooms have been blocked for event attendees at a rate of 250 EUR for a single person/night and 265 EUR for two guests/night.  It is suggested that the number of beds needed be communicated during booking.  To find out current conversion rates from Euro to other currencies, please see a currency conversion calculator.
