Armies This tournament uses the Kings of War Version 2 rules, with a maximum army total of 2000 Points and adhering to the rules of composition as detailed below.
Players must choose a Force List up to this points limit and no more and this will be used for all the games on the day.
Your Force List must be chosen from one of the official army lists.
HOUSE RULES
MAGIC ARTEFACTS
Wings of Honeymaze -This artefact can only be used by a Hero with the Individual rule. The Hero has the Fly special rule and increases their speed to 10. In addition, the Hero’s Defence is reduced by 1.
Ensorcelled Armor - This artefact can only be used by Heroes. The Hero’s Defence is improved by 1, to a maximum of 5+
Brew of Keen-eyeness - The unit has +1 to hit with ‘normal’ ranged attacks, to a maximum of 4+. In addition, the unit no longer gains piercing from Bane Chant.
Medallion of Life - This artefact can only be used by all Heroes except Hero(Mon). The Hero has the Regeneration(5+) special rule.
Heart Seeking Chant - The unit’s ranged attacks and spells have the Piercing (1) special rule, or if the unit already has Piercing, it is increased by 1. In addition, the unit no longer gains piercing from Bane Chant.
Crepognon’s Scrying Gem of Zellak - When starting to deploy their units, your opponent must deploy D3 units instead of a single one.
SCENARIO RULES
Dominate - Units with the Fly or Individual special rule that are within the central area are now only worth half their point value (rounding up to the nearest 5) when it comes to determining your score.
Invade - Units with the Fly or Individual special rule that are within your opponent's half of the board are now only worth half their point value (rounding up to the nearest 5) when it comes to determining your score.
Loot - While in possession of a loot counter, Units lose the use of both the Nimble and Fly special rules.
All other scenarios will remain the same, and the 3 chosen scenarios will be confirmed on the day.Format & ScoringRandom draw for 1st round will be applied, then a Swiss style pairing will be employed.15 pts for a win, 10 pts for a draw and 5 pts for a defeat this will be adjusted by the standard Clash of Kings attrition tables and points scoring system. At the end of 3 rounds a further painting bonus will be applied to give us the overal winner. 3 Pts for fully painted and based army, 2 Pts for 75% fully painted and based army, 1 Pt for 50% painted and based. UNIT RULES
No unit of a given size can be included more than 3 times. So as an example, you could take up to 3 individual Drakon Riders, but no more. However, you could still take up to 3 of another unit size of Drakon Riders (Troops for example).
Unique individuals (i.e. those marked with a [1] after their name in the list) can be included in tournament armies.
Elohi, Drakon Riders & Ogre Shooters are now IRREGULAR
MINIATURES
Players are permitted to use any number of non-Mantic miniatures in their armies. There is no minimum requirement for Mantic models. Models must be based on the appropriate base size and shape for their type. Unit-basing is permitted so long as the unit footprint is accurate for the unit size. Models should be painted in at least 2 colours. If any model is used as a “counts-as” or a proxy for another, this must be made clear to your opponent.

Bare plastic or primed only - a deduction of 1 TP will be applied
