Join us to celebrate International Week by discussing the topic of intercultural issues on January 29th with researchers, policy makers, employers, and community/continuing care providers. We will look at the perspectives of both caregivers (staff/providers) and care recipients (residents/family members) on this important issue.

9:30 - 10:30 AM: Speaker presentations
- Jake Evans, Intercultural Communication Facilitator, Centre for Intercultural Education, NorQuest College. Jake will speak about intercultural issues from the perspective of the caregiver.
- Lori Shortreed, Consultant, Multicultural Health Brokers Cooperative Ltd. Lori will be presenting on developing a tailored approach to diversity management and intercultural practice within the disability service provider sector in Edmonton.
Participants will be invited to jot-down thoughts & discussion topics on sticky notes to share with the group after the panel presentations.
