Paint & Sip with Wilson Bickford
Painting with Wilson Bickford Season 2 is here! Watch every Monday afternoon at 1:30pm, beginning January 18th! To celebrate this second season, WPBS-DT will be hosting a special evening with Wilson Bickford, Thursday, February 11th at 6pm at the WPBS-DT Studio, located at 1056 Arsenal St., Watertown, NY. We'll screen Episode 7, "Farmland Sunset", of Painting with Wilson Bickford Season 2, from 6 - 6:30pm in the community room. (If you are interested in attending the free screening only, please call Colleen at 315-782-3142 ext. 225 to reserve your seat). Following the free screening, Wilson will teach us how to create our very own masterpiece, entitled "The Big Dipper", pictured above, at the Paint and Sip event (ticket required). The evening will include instruction from Wilson and supplies will be provided. Your $50 ticket will also include refreshments, wine, champagne and a chance to bid on some of Wilson's original artwork at the silent auction! Join us for what it sure to be a fun and inspiring evening!
About Painting with Wilson Bickford
Painting with Wilson Bickford, Season 2, is a 13-episode series featuring a variety of different landscapes and studies sure to interest both the novice and experienced artist. Wilson Bickford is a nationally known artist and instructor, who has conducted painting workshops for over 20 years. Primarily a self-taught artist, his easy-going style has earned him thousands of satisfied students, thus proving his philosophy that “ANYONE can learn to paint”. He works in acrylic, watercolor and pen & ink, with oils being his personal favorite and most requested workshop medium. His painting tutorials on YouTube have received millions of viewings and he is the author of “Wildlife Landscapes You Can Paint” (NorthLight Books). “Painting with Wilson Bickford” Season 2 will begin airing on Mondays, beginning January 18th at 1:30pm on WPBS-TV. Viewers will be able to download the materials list and sketch for each episode by visiting www.wpbstv.org. “Painting with Wilson Bickford” Season 2, will also be offered to other PBS stations across the country.
