This practice retreat will be a combination of teachings and meditation geared for both the beginner and advanced student. As a beginner you will learn Buddhist philoshophy and meditation techniques to your life. As an intermediate to advanced student you will have the opportunity to deep your understanding and practice with Don Handrick.
Who is Don Handrick?
Don Handrick has been a Buddhist scholar and meditator since 1993. He is the resident teacher at Thubten Norbu Ling in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Don's most recent achievement was teaching the month-long meditation course at Kopan Monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal. As a lay person, Don Handrick illumniates the traditional Buddhist path with modern appeal.
$350 includes master Buddhist teachings, nine homemade vegetarian meals, three nights in our serene dormitory and full access to our Kedge Library, Enlightenment Stupa, prayer wheels, hiking trails, Buddha Field, and 276 acres.

We never charge for the Dharma. However, we need to be practical. Milarepa Center is a 501c3 non-profit. We operate on donations and have expenses that need to be covered. 7 days prior to arrival: No Refund
8 – 14 days prior to arrival: 50% cancellation service; 50% Milarepa Center credit
15- 30 days prior to arrival: 25% cancellation service; 75% refunded
31 days prior to arrival: 15% cancellation service; 85% refunded
