A peer to peer group can help both in business ideas exchange and in leadership; where the a business owner/ leader steps back from day to day operations to work “on” the business and can get brutally honest feedback and support for major decisions he/she must make and with often no more than 60-70% of the info needed to be correct in those decisions.  

A Business Owner peer group addresses those key issues where only the owner/leader of an organization can make the final decision.  The owner/leader decides “WHAT” the business will do (other partners, contractors, suppliers can work on “HOW” to do it.)  

Only other trusted owners/leaders facing the same issues and who know each other's strengths and weaknesses can provide essential feedback, info and support over time as each faces these issues.  We have many examples. 

As the leader in their business, these owners/leaders are faced with leadership questions, issues and decisions such as, do I have the right strategy?, do I have the right people?, am I leading/managing correctly for success?, should I sell be business?, etc. 

The Business Owners Forum is a diverse advisory board of 6 to 10 business owner peers from non-competing small businesses. These business owners meet once a month, along with a business advisor, to confidentially collaborate and support each other. They offer innovative perspectives on topics of common interest, as they address real issues for real results.

Each Business Owners Forum is facilitated by two SCORE volunteers, who are former business owners. Forum meets monthly. Most importantly, what happens in a CEO Forum, stays in a CEO Forum!
