Session Description:  Project Risk Management - A Live Case Study

When a project is confronted with very large risk how should it be dealt with?  This presentation will review a real project in the planning stages which encountered such a risk, discuss how it was addressed and how it impacts the scope, schedule and budget.

About the Speaker:

Lane Peters, PE, PMP has over 10 years experience managing engineering and construction projects in the utility field.  He has managed many diverse projects ranging from nuclear dry fuel storage to air quality control retrofits on large coal fired generation plants valued at over 100 million dollars.  Lane has a BS in mechanical engineering, an MBA and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Wisconsin.

Dress Code:  Dress Code:  Shoes must be closed toe (if you can see your socks or toes that is a no go), no heels of any kind, tennis shoes are ok, boots are ok, flat leather dress shoes are ok.  There is a small chance tour participants could get a little dirty (we will try not to) so formal business attire is discouraged, jeans are great!
