As of early June 9, there are 144 golfers signed up.  However, there are usually some cancellations, so if you wish to put your name on the waiting list, please send an email to mike@pattisonappraisals.com.  Include a mobile phone number and I will contact you if space becomes available. In conjunction with the 62nd Annual International Education Conference in Nashville, Tenessee, the Right of Way International Education Foundation (RWIEF) and the Canadian Right of Way Education Foundation (CRWEF) are hosting their 20th Annual Golf Tournament. The Music City Classic will be held at Gaylord Springs Golf Links on June 14, 2016.  Gaylord Springs is a daily fee/resort course owned and operated by the Gaylord Opryland Hotel, located just minutes away from the Opryland Hotel, the conference host hotel.

Gaylord Springs Golf Links has consistently been recognized among GolfWeek’s best courses you can play in Tennessee.  Carved from the banks of the meandering Cumberland River, our Scottish links-style, par-72 layout offers 18 holes bordered by limestone bluffs and wetlands.  With challenges around every fairway bend, Gaylord Springs forces you to think and react, creating a satisfying finish every time a flag is pulled from the cup.

The tournament is limited to 144 participants, and all proceeds are donated to the Education Foundations. Registration will begin at 10 a.m. with use of the range as well as chipping and putting contests before the 12:00 p.m. tee time. The fee to enter is $125 and includes green fees, golf cart, box lunch, beverages, and transportation to and from the conference host hotel.  Prizes will be given for closest to the pin on the par 3’s, long drive for both men and women, as well as the top 3 places.  A large raffle will also follow the event.

Rental clubs are available at a cost of $50 per set, and the course has enough to supply our entire field.  However, you must register and pay for the rental clubs through the tournament chair.  The golf course will not reserve rental clubs, they must be reserved through registration.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available for individuals, chapters or companies who wish to further support the goals of the Education Foundations. Sponsorships range from the Platinum level at $2500, to sponsoring individual holes for $300. All activities related to the tournament will be handled by the RWIEF, a 501-c-3 organization, which is a separate entity from IRWA.
