Who is My Neighbour?
The Trent Durham Area Day is open to all clergy and lay people in Trent Durham. Registration begins at 8:30 am. The theme this year is: Who is My Neighbour?: Love Yourself & Love Your Neighbour and is reflected in the workshops and worship for the day. The Love Yourself workshops focus on issues of our own spirituality and our personal response to the Gospel. The Love Your Neighbour workshops explore our Christian response to the wider world. Note that Workshops 2, 3 and 4 are track workshops with a part 1 and part 2 of one topic. You may choose to take both workshops on the same track. Each workshop is stand alone and you are not limited by this if you wish to take another workshop. There is a separate children's program for children aged 4 - 9 years old. They have a separate program which follows along the same theme of Who is My Neighbour?.
The program starts at 9:30 am with opening prayers, hymn and Bishop Nicholls' address. Workshop #1 - Love Your Self is from 10:30 - noon followed by lunch. Workshop #2 - Love Your Neighbour takes place from 12:45 - 2:15 pm. The day ends with worship at 2:30 pm.
Registration: $20.00 per person if you register by February 25, 2016. $25.00 for late registration or if you pay at the door. Children's registration is $10.00 per child. There are two options for payment: paypal including credit card or by cheque. Payment by cheque - Cheques should be addressed to: Trent Durham Area Day and sent to Trent Durham Area Day, C/O Eleanor Stevenson, 910 Walton Blvd., Whitby, ON L1N 3G5.
