CDOC Biennial Stakeholder Meeting 2016

The 2016 CDOC Stakeholder Meeting will be held on June 21st, at Sacramento State University in Sacramento. The goal of this meeting is to familiarize participants with content that will be included in the new state cancer plan, a strategic plan to reduce the cancer burden in the state, and to give attendees an opportunity to begin planning for implementation of the new state cancer plan. 

Meeting Objectives:

• Familiarize participants with content that will be included in the new state cancer plan. 
• Identify collaborative opportunities to work toward implementation of the new state cancer plan. 
• Educate participants on emerging topics in cancer control and prevention including use of cancer survivorship care plans and increasing HPV vaccination uptake.
• Educate California's cancer control stakeholders on national Comprehensive Cancer Control priorities and new developments.

Travel Details

Airfare, train or bus fare, ground transportation (excluding rental cars), parking, tolls, and mileage will be funded up to $350 for participants traveling from outside of the Sacramento area. The meeting begins at 10am and ends at 4pm, allowing for sufficient time for travel to and from the meeting. Funding for hotel stays for those who may requrie one will be considered on an indicidual basis. If you would like to claim funding for your travel, please fill out the Travel Request Form and return it to Lauren Harp who will help you make travel arrangements.
