Yelp: Be Found Every Day!

(Oakland)

A two hour workshop introducing Yelp, an online marketing platform where millions of people can find, review, refer, and decide to do business with you every day!

Millions of people turn to Yelp every day to make purchasing decisions!

If you are in business or about to be, chances are you need to create awareness of your presence in the community, and then increase your client base, and retain your most loyal customers.

Today, most purchasing decisions are based on reviews from others, found online, or by speaking to a friend!

In this two hour workshop learn how Yelp.com, a crowd-sourced local business review and social networking site can ease those tasks for you, increase your sales, and build a following.

We will cover:

  • A description of what Yelp is
  • The benefits a Yelp page presence can bring to your small business
  • Tool for you
  • How you can improve your rating
  • How to reply to bad or good review
  • A practical exercise
  • And a Q/A session

Please Claim Your Business Before the Workshop!

Bring Your Computer and Remember, these days, it's all about how well you do inbound marketing.

By having a presence in Yelp.com, you can help existing customers refer you more business through their reviews, and create a community of their own around what you do.

Instructor: Stephanie Yolish has been a Community Director at Yelp for four plus years. Before Yelp, Stephanie lead the events and community department for The Children's Tumor Foundation, a national non-profit that raises money and awareness for a tumor disorder. Stephanie's main mission is to connect  the community to great local businesses.
