What do exceptional people, extraordinary aircraft and a fabulous venue have in common?  That would be Beech Party!  Everyone is invited!  Whether you are a passionate aviator, an enamored enthusiast, or own any brand of aircraft, please come to Tullahoma on the second week of October.

You will find all ages of aircraft, from vintage biplanes through modern turboprops, and everything in between. Last years gathering brought in over 125 airplanes, including a variety of Beechcraft treasures along with many classic flying machines.

This year we are pleased to announce that Raj Narayanan with AQRD will arrive at Beech Party 2016 in his Starship! Raj will be conducting a most informative seminar on this facinating airplane. In addition, we will have back by popular demand, Bob Ripley with his ABS Service Clinic Demonstration; Tom Clements, the "King Air Expert", Mike Stanko with Gemco Aviation, Taigh Ramey with his Beech 18 expertise, and Jack Braly with his Beechcraft storytelling!  We are excited to have an "ADS-B and Me!"  presentation drivien by national award-winning avionics experts from Carpenter Avionics. Chris Crow, Vice President of Piston Sales - East for Textron Aviation will be giving a presentation on "Defining Cessna & Beechcraft" In addition, The Beech Aero Club will be joining us this year.

Our theme this year is "Through the Lens and with Strokes of a Brush." Thomas  Hoff will be presenting a special seminar on air-to-air photos along with Bob Burns our museum photographer who also will be leading a photrography presentation.  Cher Pruys will be joining us and she will be conducting a personal tour of her masterpieces displayed throughout the Museum.

Many activities are offered throughout the event, including professional Exhibits and educational Demonstrations from industry leading companies, respected restorers, and knowledgeable technicians.  Perennial favorites including the The Ultimate Airplane CompetionWine Tasting, A Fashion Extravaganza, Book Club, "All Girl  Filling Station's Last Reunion" by Fannie Flagg, and phenomenal meals prepared by "Two Fat Men" Award Winning Chefs returning with newer and more exciting camaraderie and, in some cases, competition.

Although area hotel accommodations number 3,000 rooms, Beech Park provides space for both tent camping and recreational vehicles, on the museum grounds.  Included are private bathrooms and showers for the campers only, and a pavilion for gathering and cooking, especially for breakfast.  Transportation is “on your own” with several options available for car rental, including pickup and drop off on the grounds.

Airport amenities include two Grass runways (9/27 @ 2,700’ x 100’ and 18/36 @ 2,100’ x 100’)  and two paved runways with RNAV (GPS), and NDB approaches (6/24 (5,500’ x 150’) and 18/36 (5,000’ x 100’).  Fuel Service is provided by Jet-A and Avgas fuel trucks or self-service pumps, and Aircraft Maintenance is only a phone call away.

Plan to attend this celebration of historical aircraft, their legendary pilots and our global aviation community.

We look forward to seeing you!
