Feb. 7 - Free Professional Development Opportunity for Pre-Serice/New Service Teachers! 

The New Deal Teacher Academy at Roosevelt University is pleased to provide 10 pre-service or new service teachers (in their first year of teaching) with a free opportunity to attend an all-day professional development session offered by the Illinois Association for Gifted Children.  The date, time, and location of the session are listed on the left sidebar.

The New Deal Teacher Academy is very grateful to the Illinois Association for Gifted Children for their generosity and partnership in the development of committed new teachers who are aware and able to meet the needs of gifted children.  To learn more about the session, which features two guest speakers, visit the IAGC website. 

This will be a wonderful opportunity for RU students and recent graduates to obtain free insight into the needs and education of gifted children.  To register, click below. The first ten individuals to register will receive information about what else is needed to attend the conference.  The registration process will close once ten forms have been received.
