International Round Table 2016 Nicaragua 

The Round Table experience is unique in that special education professionals gather together for presentations, discussions and activities.  This includes not only our professional meetings but all meals, transportation, sightseeing activities and this year, a service project at 3 local rural schools.  We have found that many of the richest conversations and deepest connections develop on the bus, in the dining area, at the pub or on the beach.  Therefore your registration fee includes all transportation in Nicaragua including to and from the Managua airport, accommodations for 5 nights, meals, sightseeing tours and materials needed for our service project in the schools.  Think of this as an 'all inclusive' gathering.  

We encourage all participants to share a room with a fellow presenter, colleague, guest or we can match you with another participant.  There are many options for housing including 1 and 2 bedroom condos beautifully situated on the Pacific Ocean with balconies and views.  All with full kitchens, wifi, laundry facilities and air conditioning.  There are also 2, 3 & 4 bedroom houses located on the golf course and a short walking distance to the conference meeting rooms, pool area and beach.  All houses have full kitchens and shared living spaces.  They also have excellent wifi, laundry facilities and a few have outdoor sitting areas. Some are solar powered and include unique innovative methods for conserving energy and optimizing the natural and renewable resources of the area.

If you prefer to have a bedroom to yourself, you must select the 'single' rate.  Otherwise if 'double' is selected we will find a roommate for you.
