Kristi Spackman

Kristy Spackman started playing piano at age 4 - a Suzuki student!  She really feel that starting piano so young gave her a head start on so many things - not only musicality, but math, memorization, work ethic, etc - that she wanted to be a teacher herself.  She loves to travel to spend time with the Japanese teachers when they come.

In 2013, Kristi took my first training in the SECE - Suzuki Early Childhood Education, a class for children ages 0-3 and their parents.  She has now taken 90 hours of coursework in teaching the SECE class and is excited to be offering SECE class in Utah through Hand-in-Hand Music.

Jenny Wadsworth

Jenny Waddsworth

Jenny Wadsworth has been teaching for 19 years. She has four awesome kids ranging from age 9-17, two cellists and two violinists. She has a strong "music is fun, curiosity and mistakes are how we learn, and connecting with beauty and others enriches our life" philosophy.   Her training includes BA in Music from BYU, both long term and short term certification through the Suzuki Association of the Americas as well as more than a thousand professional development master teacher observation hours.   Her current musical passion is choral. She just finished her 3rd season with Utah Voices culminating in a performance at Carnegie Hall!  She is a new member of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. Her hobbies outside of music include hiking, photography and cooking.
