This year we will be presenting awards to Ira Byock MD for his leadership and to Rev. Olivia Bareham for her compassionate care of patients and families.

Anam Cara is a six-bed compassionate care home based on a non-medical social model and set in a nurturing, home-like environment. When we open the doors of this facility Anam Cara will provide a peaceful, healing place to care for terminally ill people and their loved ones in the last weeks and months of life. We are committed to offering compassionate, dignified, quality care that supports the natural processes that occur in the final days of life.
