VETERINARY SPINAL MANIPULATIVE THERAPY (VSMT) CERTIFICATION PROGRAM 

Program Description:
A 226 hours Post-Graduate Education Certification open to licensed chiropractors and veterinarians in good standing with their respective licensing boards. Species: Small and Large Animals. Emphasis: Functional Neurology.Length of the program: 5 modules (Wednesday 1:00PM until Sunday at 1:00 PM)

Dates:

  • Module I: Mar. 30th, 2016 – Apr. 3rd, 2016
  • Module II: Apr. 27st, 2016 – May 1st, 2016
  • Module III: Jun. 1st, 2016 – Jun. 5th, 2016
  • Module IV: July 6th, 2016 – July 10th, 2016
  • Module V: Aug. 10th, 2016 – Aug 14th, 2016

Additional Details:
The curriculum consists of a minimum of 226 hours of supervised instruction. There is a maximum of 18 (eighteen) students per class and we will try to keep a maximum ratio of 3 or 4 (three or four) students to 1 (one) instructor for practical labs. Students will have homework and reading assignments during each module that might take up to 4-6 hours outside of class to complete. This homework will be reviewed and returned to each student by the end of the following module. Each student must present a total of 2 cases. A “case” constitutes either a patient that has been brought or sent to you for a consultation for VSMT care; their primary complaint, objective findings, physical findings and treatment / progress plan.

Cost of the VSMT program:
$6,175.00
Form of payment: Check or money orders drawn on a US Bank account; cash or credit cards (MC / Visa).

Admissions requirements(these items are required and need to be submitted to postgrad@nuhs.edu to accompany your deposit):

  1. Licensed chiropractor (DC) or veterinarian (DVM, VMD) in good standing with their particular state /provincial / governmental licensing board.
  2. Professionals registering from outside the North American continent please provide a copy of the pertinent Visa, Diploma and proper governmental licensure of the country that you are currently practicing.
  3. All applicants must submit a COPY OF YOUR DIPLOMA 
  4. All applicants must submit a COPY of the STATE OR PROVINCIAL LICENSE under which they are currently practicing.
  5. Two character reference letters, one from a non-family member and one from an employer. If self-employed, please include a letter with a brief description of your practice.
  6. Two photos (passport size).
  7. ALL licensed professionals must include a signed letter stating that they understand their state’s and or provincial rules and regulations as they apply to “animal chiropractic” or veterinary spinal manipulative therapy as set forth by their Veterinary Licensing & Regulation office for Integrative and / or Alternative Modalities and those set forth by their individual Health Care Licensing Boards.

By notifying the school ASAP, you would be allowing the student on the current waiting list to have ample time to arrange their schedule and attend the program. Please note that if you are requesting a transfer to the next class, you must recheck the catalog as prices might change and you would then be responsible for the updated tuition price.
