Red Raiders Tennis Fundraiser

NO PARTNER NEEDED PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT

The Huntley High School Red Raiders Girls’ and Boys’ tennis teams are holding a fundraiser for their upcoming 2016 seasons (Spring = Boys, Fall = Girls). Proceeds will be used to supply the student athletic program with much needed equipment (eg: court squeegees, rollers, ball carts and hoppers).

Pickleball Tournament Format

Mixer (no partner needed)

What is a mixer? 8 players of similar skill level will be grouped onto a court. Each player on that court plays a total of 7 games. This is similar to a round robin, except you have a different partner for each game. The top two players from that court with the largest winning margin (score the most points and give up the least) are awarded first and second place.

Since there will be 8 courts, this is like having 8 tournaments simultaneously!

Rules

• All games being one game to 15, win by one.
• The tournament ball will be the Jugs; net will be the USAPA portable.
• All IFP rules as of 1/1/2016 will apply without modificationsre event details and include a compelling event related image.
