Puberty/Reproductive Anatomy/Contraception

This dynamic training is a fun way to learn about puberty, reproductive anatomy, and contraception. Participants will learn how to teach/discuss these topics to youth by engaging in numerous, easy to recreate activities. Participants will leave this training with a better understanding of the topic areas, as well as resources to use with youth.

This training is required for all professionals applying for the Certified Sexual Health Educator program through the Sex Ed Academy at EyesOpenIowa.  Sex Ed Academy members must attend the entire training for credit and receive a 75% passing score on the training post-test.

*When taken with HIV/AIDS/STDs, this course is available for AEA Teacher Re-Licensure credit.

This training is open to all professionals and college students.

Lunch and all materials are included in training cost.
