National Girls & Women in Sports Day

Hosted by: Quinnipiac University Department of Athletics and Recreation

WHAT: Quinnipiac University is hosting a Girls and Women in Sport Day for girls in 4^th – 7^th grade in the Greater New Haven Area.  This event is free of charge. 

WHEN & WHERE: February 7^th, 2016 from 12:00PM to 3:30PM at Quinnipiac University TD Bank Sports Center, 305 Sherman Avenue, Hamden, CT 06518.

SCHEDULE: 

11:45 PM: Check in at the Lobby of TD Bank and basketball ticket pick up* These will be at the table ready for you once your daughter checks in*

12:00 PM-1:45 PM: Presentations on Self-Esteem, A Day in the Life of a Collegiate Student Athlete, and activities with current female QU student-athletes and coaches.  ** Boxed lunch is provided for free given at 2:00pm**

1:45 PM:  Cheer the QU Women’s Basketball team to the court from the sidelines

2:00 PM-3:30PM: Attend the QU Women’s Basketball Game vs Niagara with your family/friends

All participants receive a QU spirit scarf!
